Alright, my dear. If that is what you wish. [A cold look frosts over Damon’s features, his head tilting back only slightly as he begins to recall a case to tell the eager young woman in front of him. How does one begin to explain such things to one who looks so innocent and yet begs for indulgence?]

March 2016, I believe it was. 20th.. 22nd, around that time. He was a private doctor, very small clinic. The number of patients he had was low indeed but the amount of money he received to heal even a small cut of theirs was.. quite impressive indeed.

… [Gant’s gloved hand covers his mouth as he imagines how exactly to phrase the cheerful tale. A leather forefinger glides across his bottom lip, emerald eyes glazing over as he falls deep into thought. When he speaks, it is quite sudden, breaking the pause just before one expects him to, almost eagerly.] We burst in during his penultimate murder, holding a fair woman’s head in his hands- Oh, the image of those pure white gloves being soaked in deep red was something to behold. Though, it wasn’t the first thing that caught your attention, no, no. That would have been the well dressed body hanging from the light built into the ceiling.

The good Doctor lunged at me, throwing the wide eyed head on the ground and instead assailing yours truly with his hands onto my lapel. His eyes were wide, crazed and in that close a range I could see the fire that burnt inside him. The man was absolutely mad. [The word is slowed, and spoken with a whisper- and his lips curve around it, forming into a malicious smile.]

Our spoils from that case certainly were interesting. One Doctor in handcuffs and a straitjacket, severed bloodied instruments- including a strange toaster device, which was then found to contain the scorched remains of a child’s hand. Oh, and we also gained a wonderful photo of once our best men’s minds splattered all over those pristine, clinic walls.

Hoh ho! Our turmoil loving Doc and your mother are not so different. Perhaps, you’d like me to deal with her the same way I did him?

Dahlia listens to Gant’s tale completely enraptured, following each and every dramatic twist excitedly. She clasps her slender hands together and if she wasn’t so ladylike, she might have even jumped up and down in glee.

(Oh, how wonderful! If only I could have seen that carnage for myself…it must have paid, being in a position of power like that. Hm, it might behoove me to ask for more. Killing the same way over and over again does get rather repetitive.)

My goodness! I do believe my favourite part is the end of the story with the burned child~
